ABOUT POWER OF WOMEN EXCHANGING RESOURCES, INC.
POWER of Women Exchanging Resources, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization based in Medford, NY and serves Long Island and the New York surrounding area. We empower women by providing educational meetings with unique networking opportunities in an intimate setting. At each of our POWER events, we support our guests and members by allowing and providing strong personal connections and sharing of available resources.
POWER was founded by Denise Nostrom, Owner and Financial Professional of Diversified Financial Solutions. Denise brought POWER to New York in 2012 and has brought the organization to the local community by educating and giving back. POWER has allowed Denise to meet wonderful women who all have a life story worth sharing. She hopes to continue inspiring women to be the amazing individuals that they are.
POWER's Executive Board consists of President - Denise Nostrom, Vice President- Alycia Bender, Treasurer - Sheri Bender, and Secretary - Kim Dominici. The POWER Board manages the event schedule and programming, finances, and committees while providing a foundation for resources to educate and inspire women to become business owners or create solid connections with women in the local community.
